Technical sales specialist (civil )

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Sales Representative.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering or  construction, combined with exceptional sales acumen and /or estimation . As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering client relationships, and promoting  products and services within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and targets.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the civil engineering and construction industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients, offering innovative solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote company visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in technical sales, with a minimum of 3 to 5  years of experience in the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as needed.
