Job Level

NV-11As Senior Advisor, Business Strategy, you will help define and develop the Department’s planning activities, monitor the business plan and performance, set targets, establish the service offer and identify opportunities to improve service levels. As part of the transformation and development of Desjardins Group, you will also oversee mandates related to the governance and development of shared, collaborative business-architecture work methods and some business architecture positioning.You will take on a leadership and influencer role when interacting with the various stakeholders on files and projects that involve highly innovative, interdepartmental strategic and complex input and development. In this regard, you will contribute to developing and recommending strategic orientations and business positioning. The nature of the files requires in-depth and extensive expertise in your field.You will make recommendations on the development and delivery of files and initiatives with a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity that require analysis and a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the business and the organization. Coordination will be critical, and you will be required to interact with a large number of stakeholders who are experts in a variety of fields. As such, you will need highly developed interpersonal skills.You will serve as a specialized consultant and content expert in your field of expertise, and act as a contact for a large community of practice and decision-making bodies.

Additional responsibilities

  • Support management and resources in producing documents for authorities.
  • Track ongoing activities and update the dashboard with adjustment recommendations.
  • Monitor the business architects’ skills development plan.
  • Coordinate the communities of practice and other committees, and follow up as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
