NV-04As a member/client service agent – securities, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices. Your focus areas include discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and structured products.You assist members and clients and help maintain business relationships. You carry out sales, sales support and client relations activities for specific products and services or in response to information requests in accordance with current practices, tailoring your approach as needed. You draw on your interpersonal savvy and communication skills to ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures.
General Information on the Position
Support the investment advisor (or team) in all administrative, customer service and business development activities.
Respond to information requests from clients regarding their account and/or products and services offered by the firm, and carry out the necessary follow-up and research to deliver quality service at all times.
Complete, check and forward various account opening forms.
Monitor daily activity in client accounts and handle various administrative details to free up the advisor(s).
Check data from various information sources in accordance with established policies and standards (transaction corrections, cheque requisitions and deposits, transfer follow-ups, mail received and sent, swaps and RRSP contributions).
Carry out data entry, including production of various client documents, while ensuring layout and writing quality.
Help identify operational risks and improvements.
