Job Level

NV-11As Senior Advisor, ITPDAD Resource and Talent Management, you will contribute to aligning and developing organizational and human capacity. You will guide managers as they develop their resource management leadership abilities and acquire technical and interpersonal skills in connection with a distinctive employee experience. You will fufill the role of influential leader for team leaders to adopt sound management practices and HR policies consistent with Desjardins’s culture and vision. You will participate in making the organization more flexible and better adapted to the objectives of the organizational transformation (Agile) and you will support the HR Department in creating an environment conducive to motivating employees. You will monitor, direct and guide strategic thinking about organizational alignment development, the talent development strategy and the rollout of practices and methodologies associated with talent management. You will serve as a specialized consultant and subject matter expert in your field of expertise, and act as a resource person and coach for decision-making bodies.

Additional responsibilities

  • Advise and guide managers and team leaders as they take charge of the different aspects of management accountability, performance evaluations, development and/or recovery plan preparation and complex-case management
  • Plan and monitor training in accordance with accreditation requirements and budgetary parameters
  • Initiate and help plan workshops to develop resource technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Encourage employees to adopt roles and responsibilities through an improved take-charge experience, coaching and mentoring
  • Draft various reports, correspondence and recommendations, and provide advisory support in the implementation of these recommendations
  • Represent your unit on various Desjardins Group committees working on organizational culture and development to maintain a high standard in hiring and in implementing operational development strategies
  • Play an active role in initiatives concerning talent development or resource well-being as well as personal and professional development 
  • Participate in developing management indicators

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations
  • At least 10 years of management experience in a matrix-model or cross-sector environment

  • Certification in professional management coaching and/or mentoring preferred
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
