SUMMARY:
The Sales and Marketing Director plays a key strategic role in the company’s sustainable growth. They are responsible for defining, deploying, and optimizing sales and marketing strategies to increase business performance, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction. As an engaging, results-oriented leader, they ensure alignment between the strategic vision, sales teams, and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Actively participate in the management committee.
Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic direction and ensure its operational implementation.
Act as an ambassador of the organization’s vision, mission, and values with the teams. Buy-in to Magistral’s values and culture is essential.
Sales and Market Development
Define and lead the deployment of sales strategies for the renovation and contractor sectors, based on established growth objectives.
Develop the customer base, strengthen existing markets, and optimize the customer experience.
Build and maintain strategic business networks and represent the company with key partners.
Marketing and Brand Positioning
Develop and deploy the overall marketing strategy, including brand, digital, advertising, promotion, and events.
Plan and manage the marketing budget with an ROI-driven approach.
Measure the performance of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies based on results and market trends.
Team Management and Development
Mobilize, coach, and develop sales teams of approximately 30 people.
Set clear, measurable objectives aligned with the company’s strategy.
Actively participate in recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Processes, Performance, and Continuous Improvement
Standardize and improve sales processes.
Ensure effective and seamless internal communication between teams.
Stay up to date on best practices, innovations, and market and competitive developments.
DESIRED PROFILE:
Education and Experience
Ideally, a university degree in administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.
Significant experience, 8 to 10 years, in sales, including several years in team management.
Experience in the doors and windows, construction, renovation, or related industry is a major asset.

Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Strategic vision combined with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.
Comfortable using digital tools.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions, including HR, operations, finance, and customer service.

Bilingual French / English, spoken and written.
Availability for occasional travel.
