Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide services from advising on immigration issues and the use of international agreements in immigration matters, to arranging CAQ, study visas, entry visas, spouse and parent visas, work permits, PGWP or permanent resident, sponsorships in less cost for students, their family, and employees.
  • Manage multiple and challenging Canadian immigration engagements and deliver solutions and ideas for our diverse clients (international students).
  • Collaborate with our offices internationally to provide our clients with integrated, quality service.

Skills and attributes for success:

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Canadian immigration law and effectively apply this knowledge to client situations.
  • Prepare and submit applications for MIFI, Ministry of Education and Higher education, Immigration Canadian, Canadian employment authorizations.
  • Familiar with all Governmental Immigration websites
  • Make submissions to embassies, consulates, and visa posts worldwide.
  • Facilitate the legal movement of employees across borders for business travel, including all types of work permits, labor market impact assessments, residency permits.
  • Deal with immigration-related issues ranging from international corporate taxation to social security, and provincial health insurance.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Law degree along with a Canadian call to the bar preferably in Quebec
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in processing CAQ, study visas, entry visas, spouse and parent visas, work permits.
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, and communication (verbal/written ) skills .
  • Ability to work independently
  • Bilingual (FR & EN)
