Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales across a portfolio of small and medium-sized accounts, acquiring new clients through telephone and digital prospecting, and retaining existing clients.
This role focuses on remote consultative selling, rigorously tracking opportunities via CRM, and consistently achieving prospecting and sales targets.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Portfolio Development and Management

  • Proactively manage the existing client base (follow-ups, additional sales, cross-selling).
  • Prospect for new clients via telephone and digital channels.
  • Present offers and negotiate remotely.
  • Ensure regular and documented follow-up via CRM.

 

Achieving Targets

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain discipline in call volume and quality.
  • Continuously follow up until opportunities are closed.

 

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

  • Work with the marketing team to effectively target prospects.
  • Share best practices with the sales team.
  • Identify and communicate customer needs to adapt offers.
  • Inform the Business Development Director of customers and/or prospects who would benefit from working with a representative on the road.

 

Required profile

Key skills

  • Persuasive verbal communication over the telephone.
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Remote consultative selling.
  • Organized and autonomous in managing priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM and prospecting tools digital.

Experience

  • 2+ years in inside sales or B2B telephone development.
  • Experience in remote prospecting and closing.
  • Knowledge of the transportation/logistics sector (an asset).

 

Attitude

  • Hunter mentality, proactive and results-oriented.
  • Ability to create closeness and trust over the phone.
