This role sits within Laurentian Bank.

The incumbent is responsible for the management and daily processing of administrative and monetary operations for all business centers in Quebec and Ontario.

 

Responsabilities

  • Analyzes the requests received from the legal sector in order to process the opening of new commercial loans and lines of credit.
  • Verifies the instructions received from the CACs regarding the processing of monetary and administrative operations and processes the transactions in the S.I.B.L and Plexus systems.
  • Notifies the CACs of irregularities that may delay the processing and follows up to resolve the situation.
  • Collects and compiles fees related to commercial clients according to the instructions received from the CAC.
  • Ensures the daily processing of transactions related to unauthorized overdrafts (U.O.D.) and line of credit transfers, transmits the instructions received to the clearing area and communicates with the analysts or account managers for irregularities.
  • Manages and processes centralized foreign exchange transactions, completes draft requests, ensures compliance with instructions received from clients, forwards instructions to Treasury and confirms to clients.
  • Ensures the processing of transfer requests to other financial institutions received from clients.
  • Ensures the implementation of controls and annual payment of taxes to municipalities.
  • Ensures customer service for commercial customers, conducts research, informs customers about services, opens the website and supports customers in difficulty.
 

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Good knowledge of banking, knowledge of commercial financing would be an asset
